Samsara, meaning ‘rebirth’, is a full-bodied and fragrant blend of malts matured in ex Bourbon and ex Californian red wine casks. Samsara is the no-age-statement release from the reborn Bladnoch distillery. This is sweet with notes of plum, vanilla and citrus.

Tasting notes from Master of Malt:

On the nose, quite concentrated, fruit compote, with plums, vanilla and orange blossom. On the palate, a sweet winey start, then drying slightly before more plums and vanilla flavours, some citrus and a malty core. Nicely structured. The finishe is mellow and winey with a spicy, lingering tail.
