Bruichladdich Octomore 13.1 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is the thirteenth release of the Octomore series, and is made from 100% Scottish barley, which is then peated to an incredible level of 131 phenol parts per million. The whisky is then aged for five years in first-fill American oak casks, before being bottled at a cask strength of 58.5% ABV. The whisky has a deep golden colour, with aromas of peat smoke, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, there are notes of sweet honey, toasted oak, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smoky,
