Unpeated Islay Single Malt,made exclusively from 100% local Islay grain. Islay barley was Bruichladdich’s earliest introduction to the Distillery’s intense focus on ingredients transparency. Cultivated in rotation with 17 different farms on the island, each regional Islay Barley release showcases the influence of a merciless Atlantic environment on Islay-grown grain.

The latest release in the Islay Barley series is a 2011 Vintage, distilled with barley from six farms on the island: Starchmill, Mulindry, Island, Cruach, Coull and Rockside. Matured in ex-Bourbon and French wine casksand bottled 100% on Islay.
