Chattanooga Whiskey’s Tennessee Rye Malt embodies a rich and multifaceted interpretation of rye whiskey, drawing inspiration from the distillery's early experimental batches. This artisanal spirit showcases a meticulous selection of slow-toasted and drum-roasted rye malts, resulting in an impressive profile that melds sweetness with savory complexity. With a mash bill that includes pale malted rye, yellow corn, caramel malted rye, and chocolate malted rye, the whiskey promises a unique drinking experience that is both bold and approachable.
The whiskey has been aged for a minimum of three years, allowing its flavors to mature and develop depth. Notably, it has garnered accolades, being recognized as one of Whisky Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies of 2020 and a Double Platinum Winner at the Ascot Awards. Each sip reveals a harmonious blend of candied fruits, aromatic herbs, and a medley of spices, culminating in a beautifully balanced and full-bodied whiskey that lingers on the palate.
