We believe that everyone should be able to buy a good quality single malt scotch. You shouldn’t need a fancy display cabinet to enjoy Scotland’s national drink. That’s what we set out to do in 1960 when we built the Macduff distillery. Our distillery was built by four entrepreneurial Scots and a practical production approach saw us introduce shell and tube condensers (where we cool the vapour back into liquid) into the first gravity-fed scotch whisky distillery allowing us to reduce costs, and our environmental impact.
Tasting Notes: Creamy malt with hints of hazelnut cream, fresh summer berries and a drizzle of maple syrup. On the palate, caramelized peaches, dark chocolates, and orange zest.
