Nose: Full-bodied candiced, sugary-sticky candy, maple syrup, herbs, lavender, pronounced vanilla aromas.
Palate: Heavy, sweet vanilla flavour dominates in the foreground, followed by herbs and oak-cask-aromas as well as a trace of citrus fruits.
Finish: Very long, creamy, lasting, Bourbon-vanilla, herbs.
Braeval distillery is a distiller of Scotch whisky in Chapeltown, Banffshire, Scotland. Founded in 1973 as Braes of Glenlivet, the distillery is owned by Chivas Brothers. The name was changed to avoid confusion with an unrelated single malt.
