An exemplary single malt. Glenfiddich malt master handpicks some of the oldest casks in the world, marrying 40 year old vattings to craft a peerless whisky. Infinite depth and layer upon layer of aroma and flavor create a 40 year old unrivalled by other rare whiskies of this age. For 20 years, William Grant had the dream of making the “best whisky in the valley”. With the help of his family, he finally made his dream come true in the summer of 1886. Glenfiddich is Gaelic and means “valley of the stags”. For this 40-year-old bottling, only the best and oldest casks are selected by the Malt Master himself. Each bottle is individually numbered and wrapped in hand-embroidered calfskin.
