Inspired by his visit to Scotland, Valdez envisioned a harmonious blend of tequila and Scotch single malts, resulting in a series that celebrates both traditions. The Roble Fino series features three unique expressions, each finished in ex-single malt, sherry-seasoned casks, showcasing the depth of flavor that comes from this innovative approach.
This particular expression, the Reposado Cristalino, is first aged for six months in ex-bourbon barrels, allowing it to develop a rich, smooth character. It then undergoes an additional two months of finishing in sherry-seasoned casks, enhancing its complexity while being naturally filtered to achieve a crystal-clear appearance. The result is a luxurious sipping tequila that retains the essence of its original aging while offering a refined taste experience.
