Returns for In-Store Purchases
You may return an unopened item to the store for a refund or exchange for other merchandise within 15 days of purchase. A receipt is required for all returns. Items will be inspected by the store's manager for damage, including heat exposure. Bottles that show signs of heat exposure after purchase may not be returned.
Refunds will be issued in the same tender as the original purchase. If the original purchase was by check, a corporate refund check will be mailed to you within 10 business days.
Item Spoiled or Corked ▪ If you have determined an item to be spoiled or corked after opening, you may return the item to the store within 15 days of purchase for an identical replacement. If the item is no longer available, a Gaspar’s Liquor Store gift card will be issued. 75% of the bottle's original contents is required to claim the item as spoiled or corked. If the bottle's closure type is cork, please also bring the cork with you at the time of the return. Wine purchased that is older than 10 years is not guaranteed in any way.
Special Orders ▪ Special order items may not be returned or exchanged.
Returns for Shipped Orders
ALL ALCOHOL SALES ARE FINAL.
Cancellations ▪ Cancellations must be made before orders are picked up for shipment. Orders that have been picked up for shipment cannot be cancelled, only returned. Please review the email you receive confirming your order carefully to make sure you ordered the correct alcohol and shipping address. We are not responsible for any incorrect orders placed by the customer. Cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee. An address change (shipment re-routing) may be requested by the customer after shipment, but the customer will be responsible for the fee charged by shipping carriers for address changes.
Returns ▪ If we made a mistake, we want to make it right. Any return of unopened and undamaged wine that was incorrectly sent to the customer (i.e., wrong wine or vintage) must be done within 10 days of your receipt of the alcohol. Should this happen, please log in to your account, select your order, and click Return Items to generate a Return Authorization or call us to discuss. We will issue an exchange or refund on returned products that were incorrectly shipped to you. We will not accept return of any wine that has been opened, harmed during transportation, or harmed due to extreme weather conditions.
Order Damaged in Transit ▪ If you experience a problem with a damaged shipment, please contact the shipping company directly. We are not able to take returns or issue refunds based on shipping damage, including heat damage.
Weather Advisory ▪ Shipping during periods of heat or extreme cold is at your own risk. Neither Gaspar’s Liquor Store nor the carrier is not responsible for damage to wine or spirits, including leakage or damaged corks, resulting from heat or extreme temperatures during shipment.
Undeliverable Orders ▪ Any shipments containing alcohol are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” sticker, and the carrier is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. The person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old, and someone will have to be present at the time of delivery to provide a signature. If the carrier is unable to deliver for any reason and returns the shipment, we will issue a refund or account credit for any unopened bottles, less the original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and a 10% restocking fee.
